David is a union representative with AUPE since 2007. He has worked as counsel representing AUPE and its members in labour arbitrations and before the Labour Relations Board. David is also a member of the Alberta Bar and has been for 30+ years. His areas of practice, before joining AUPE, focused on Litigation of all sorts. Recently, David joined AUPE’s Essential Services department and is engaged with negotiating Essential Services agreements on behalf of AUPE.

David is also a member of the Board of the Friends of the Royal Alberta Museum Society. He was nominated to the PSPP Corporate Board by AUPE.

Todd Gilchrist is a skilled executive with more than 30 years of experience in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Todd’s current role as Vice-President, University Services and Finance with the University of Alberta encompasses Finance, Procurement & Resource Planning, Human Resources, Health, Safety and Environment, Information Technology, Performance Analytics and Institutional Research, and Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management.

In addition, he currently serves as Board Trustee, Audit Committee Chair and Sponsor Board Chair with the Universities Academic Pension Plan (UAPP); Board Director and Finance & Audit Committee Chair of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Alberta (CPHR AB); Board Director and Governance & Human Resources Committee Chair with Habitat for Humanity Edmonton; Chair of the Board of Directors with the Capital Region of Alberta United Way; and, Board Director with the Canadian Association of University Business Officers. Todd previously served on the Public Sector Pension Plan (PSPP) Sponsor Board.

Todd is a graduate of the Rotman School of Management and the Institute of Corporate Directors (Directors Education Program). He holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, both from Royal Roads University. He is designated as an ICD.D by the Institute of Corporate Directors, and accredited as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP). Todd was nominated to the PSPP Corporate Board by the University of Alberta.

Liliana is a Union Representative working in the AUPE Pensions Department. Her areas of responsibility include pension plan design, providing pension plan support services to members and pensioners, and providing in-depth pension expertise and guidance to AUPE.

Liliana has over 16 years of provincial government experience, with more than 12 years of pension background as a private-sector pension plans regulator. She has also had the opportunity to participate in the risk management strategy for Alberta registered pension plans, as well as support the application of amended pension legislation.

Most recently, Liliana worked as a Government of Alberta Internal Audit Manager. She has been involved with the Women in Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion, and reconciliation workplace initiatives. Liliana was appointed to the PSPP Corporate Board by AUPE.

Having worked as a registered laboratory technician in microbiology and then a paralegal and office manager in a criminal law firm, Jan returned to university as a mature student to complete a BA in English and a law degree. She undertook a clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada in Ottawa before being called to the bar in both Ontario and Alberta. Fifteen years ago, she joined the staff at AUPE where she is now a member of the research department.

Jan brings to the position the Pension Plan Administration Certificate (PPAC) through Humber College and various other courses on pension law and administration. In addition, prior experience as a volunteer on a number of boards means she comes with a solid knowledge and experience base. She was nominated to the PSPP Corporation Board by AUPE.

Emilian is a retired CEO of the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund Board. Previously, he was the chief pension regulator of Alberta and a founding director of the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance. Emilian is a member of the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation Investment Committee and a member of the Government Relations Committee of the Pension Investment Association of Canada.

He is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. honours degree (applied mathematics in statistics) and is a certified director of the Institute of Corporate Directors. He was nominated to the PSPP Corporation Board by the GOA.

Ross joined INFOR Financial in 2020 to spearhead the firm’s Western Canadian expansion with 15 years of capital markets experience in energy, investment banking and debt capital markets origination and syndication. A Calgarian born and bred, Ross most recently held the position of Managing Director, Energy Investment Banking with an independent investment dealer.

Ross has previously held senior leveraged finance roles in both New York and Toronto where he originated, structured and executed over $35 billion of high yield and investment grade transactions in both CAD and USD spanning the credit spectrum from AA to CCC. Ross was a finalist for IIAC’s “Top Under 40” award in 2015 and was named to Wealth Professional Magazine’s 2016 “Hot List” as one of the 50 most influential financial professionals in Canada. Prior to his career in the capital markets, Ross proudly served his country as a Main Battle Tank Commander conducting both domestic and international operations. He was awarded the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal and the NATO Medal of Service for operations in the Former Yugoslavia.

Ross earned his undergraduate degree with Honours from the Royal Military College of Canada and obtained a Masters of Business Administration from Yale University. He was nominated to the PSPP Corporation Board by the GOA.

Bonnie Andriachuk, Q.C., ICd.d is the Senior Vice President Legal and Corporate Secretary with Servus Credit Union. Bonnie is currently a Trustee with the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and has formerly served as a director with Alberta Pensions Services Corporation, Alberta Motor Association Insurance Corporation, and Women Building Futures. Bonnie received her LLB from the University of Alberta. Bonnie was nominated to the PSPP Corporate Board by the Government of Alberta.

Kerry Swann is currently an Associate Advisor, working at Sun Life Financial in Regina. He has had over 40 years in finance, focused on retirement planning and mutual fund / investment analysis / research. Kerry has worked with both individual and corporate clients (including whole blocks of business) in the course of his career.  In his varied positions, he has worked on the "front lines" and in the "back office". During his career, Kerry has taught courses related to the Certified Financial Planner designation. He has been a member of the Lion's Club since 1995, and serves as Past President on the Board of the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Canadian Association of Retired Persons. Kerry was nominated to the PSPP Corporate Board by the University of Alberta Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA).
