Understanding Your Pension

Welcome to the Public Service Pension Plan! Your PSPP pension is one of the best ways to help you prepare for retirement. Once you're collecting a pension, you can count on regular, monthly payments. Your contributions are tax deductible and you and your employer both pay into the Plan.

The amount of pension you'll receive is based on your salary and how long you've paid into the Plan. You may even be able to get a head start by transferring in service you earned in other pension plans.

While other types of retirement plans may be tied to ups and downs in the economy, your PSPP pension is based on a set formula, meaning it's predictable.
